this is not a question but answer to a question i have been trying to find, first of all you need kinda factory restarted or at least empty compute stick, because after this you are going to be left with about 200Mb free space out of these 1.1Gb or so you get after factory restart. Step 1 dedicate some more swap memory, on a basic linux computestick you dont get enough ram + swap to run even basic applications, so make your swap memory larger using these commands- sudo fallocate -l 350M /swapfile -sudo mkswap /swapfile -sudo swapon /swapfile You can check by opening system monitor(they turn off after powering stick off to get them on you either have to swapon them again, or use sudo -l; su -; and edit /etc/fstab (automatically turns them on), be careful tho and i would recommend backing up the original one in a text form) Step 2 get jre 8, in newer versions of ubuntu you would basicalli apt install jre 8, but this old one has only 6 a 7, so search for jre 8 for ubuntu 14.04 online, you will probably get bigger liberary, update and install jre following their steps, for me only second one worked. After that get tlauncher for linux, then go to properties and make it runnable, then open it with jre, it should work. In tlauncher you can either log in to your mojang account or stay warez, offline, or whatever. I would reccomend playing 1.8 optifine lowest possible setting, i got 60fps by doing that, not sure how high version it can run. I got stable and playable hypixel skyblock experience. If game crashes and it says not enough memory, try turning swappines down and perhaps dedicating like 100 more megabites of swap in separate file, again be careful not to run out of space, because if you put in too big nuber, you can get into a situation, where your stick runs out of memory with exactly 0 bytes left. You would have to factory reset it after that.
