My At&t Alcatel tetra crashed and went into a boot loop a few days ago. It wouldn't start up or boot into recovery mode or power off completely or respond at all then.
I allowed it to fully drain the battery looping. When I tried to turn it on again after charging a bit it went right back into the boot loop. I held down the power key for 60secs it had no effect. Held power and volume down next and at first the same was true. But after a few attempts it went to recovery mode and I was able to get it to turn on again while plugged in. But it crashed again few hours later. Nothing I tried had any visible effect. Except that it would show the battery icon and % charged when plugged in but nothing else. I gave up on it till the following evening. At first it was unresponsive again. But then suddenly booted up fine while plugged in. I left it charging and watched movies till falling asleep. It was at 100% and still working the following morning. But I 15 minutes later after leaving my house it was off again and completely unresponsive. Later I plugged it back in. Since then it shows the battery ion and charged 100% right after plugging in but nothing else.
I purchased it second hand. It was not rooted or anything else and had just been used for a few months. I have been using it for roughly 6 months since.
Any suggestions on how get it on and working again?
